News1. Why is she in the news?
Anne Diamond's son, Sebastian, died at 4 months old of cot death. She began a campaign to urge parents to put their babies to sleep on their backs and this has reduced the amount of cot death's drastically in the UK. Diamond complained about the press chasing her to the funeral of her son and being outside her house 30 minutes after the death. 2. How does this story link to the PCC codes and Leveson Inquiry? The press were in breach of clause 5 of the PCC's code of practise - it was a case involving personal grief and shock and the press did not approach the situation with sympathy. 3. What do you think are the three key things that the Leveson Inquiry has taught us?
